Support and resistance
Levels you can measure: where swings stopped more than once. · 6 min
Charts in this lesson are generated. They are not real market data and predict nothing.
A level is a price where swings stopped more than once. Below the current price it is support, above it resistance. The engine finds levels by clustering swing prices that sit within about one candle’s typical range (0.92 here).
Worked example
support: swings at 139.51, 139.59, 139.83 → average 139.64
resistance: swings at 146.80, 147.03, 147.16 → average 147.00
Swing lows at 50.10, 49.95 and 50.20; typical candle range 0.40. Is there support?
