Privacy
Most of what you do here stays in your browser. This page says what leaves it, why, where it goes, for how long, and what you can ask for. It follows Brazil's data protection law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, LGPD).
Last updated 24 October 2026.
In short
- No advertising, no tracking cookies, and nothing is sold.
- No payment details: nothing here is paid.
- Your learning records stay in this browser unless you use a shared feature (daily chart, records, outcomes, Edge court, classes) or sign in to an account.
- Your email address is used only if you create an account, and only to sign you in.
- Anonymous usage counts (how often each feature was used that day, one number per feature) are sent unless your browser asks sites not to track it.
- You can delete what the server holds for this browser yourself, with the button at the end of this page.
Who is responsible
Trading Math Coach (tradingmathcoach.com) decides how this data is used (the controller). Write to privacy@tradingmathcoach.com for anything on this page, including requests to the person in charge of data protection (encarregado). We answer within 15 days.
What stays in your browser
Lesson progress and states, chart readings, your confidence answers and calibration, the mistake notebook, placement, checkrides, the capstone, arena and worlds results, pattern spotter results, research lab games, Edge court votes, your trade journal (the notes you write and the emotion tags you choose for each chart), the daily checklist (today's answers and a log of the mood you picked each day), the "I decided not to day trade" entry with its date, settings such as the candle style, the Mind page, the radio station you chose, and a random browser id. They are kept in your browser's storage, not in cookies, and never leave it unless one of the features below sends them. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them; Reset on the Logbook clears the learning records.
What the server keeps
These are stored in a database run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), only when you use the feature. The browser id is the random id above; it tells browsers apart and carries no name.
| Feature | What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily chart | Your answers, confidence and points for that day's chart, the nickname if you give one, and your browser id. | To show what everyone answered and the monthly season board (legitimate interest, for a feature you use). | Until you delete it with the button below or ask us to. |
| Verified records | The measured figures you choose to sign. No name and no browser id. | So anyone you give the link to can check the figures (your request). | Until you send us the link and ask us to delete it. |
| Outcomes | Your week 1 and week 4 calibration and process figures, and your browser id. | To publish anonymous averages of how learners improve (consent, given and withdrawn on the Outcomes page). | Until you delete it or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it. |
| Edge court | Your vote (edge or noise), its confidence, the week and your browser id. | To show the crowd's count after you vote (legitimate interest, for a feature you use). | Until you delete it with the button below or ask us to. |
| Classes | For a teacher: the class name, its charts and a scrambled copy (hash) of the teacher key. For a member: the nickname, a summary of calibration, process by step and the class charts read, and the browser id. | So the teacher sees how the class reads charts (consent, given by creating or joining a class). | Until the member leaves or is removed, or the teacher closes the class. |
| Class joins | How many new class members each network added that day. The network address is stored only as a hash that changes every day. | To stop one person filling classes with made-up members (legitimate interest). | Two days, then deleted automatically. |
| Usage counts | One number per kind of action per day, such as charts started, lessons passed or explanations rated helpful. Nothing that identifies you: no browser id, no page address, no answers. To count once whether a first week of learning took hold, this browser keeps the day of your first visit and a done flag; neither is sent. A daily count per network, stored only as a hash that changes every day, stops one network flooding the totals. | To know which parts of the site help learners, and to publish the totals on the Outcomes page (legitimate interest). | The daily totals are kept; the network counts are deleted after two days. |
| Mistake counts | When you give a wrong answer in a lesson check, a drill, the placement round, a checkride or the simulator: one number per question and wrong answer per day, such as which wrong option of which check was chosen. Nothing that identifies you: no browser id, no page address, nothing you type. A daily count per network, stored only as a hash that changes every day, stops one network flooding the totals. | To find the lessons that need rewriting, and to publish the most common mistakes on the Outcomes page (legitimate interest). | The daily totals are kept; the network counts are deleted after two days. |
| Problem reports | When you use "Report a problem": the kind of problem, your comment if you write one, the page address, the part of the page and the language. No browser id and no network address. A daily count per network, stored only as a hash that changes every day, stops one network flooding the queue. | To fix wrong, unclear or badly translated text (legitimate interest). | Until the problem is dealt with, then deleted; the network counts are deleted after two days. |
| Coach debrief | How many coach answers each browser and each network asked for that day. The network address is stored only as a hash that changes every day. | To stop the coach being misused (legitimate interest). | Two days, then deleted automatically. |
Accounts
An account is optional. If you create one, Supabase (our account provider, working on our behalf, in its São Paulo region) keeps your email address, the record of your sign-ins and one copy of your learning records, your journal notes and emotion tags, the daily checklist's mood log and the "I decided not to day trade" entry included, so they can follow you to another device. The email is used only to send sign-in links and codes. We keep this to provide the account you asked for, until you delete the account with the button on the Account page, which removes the sign-in and the copy.
The coach debrief
When you press "Ask the coach why" after a reading, the step, your answer and reason, the coach's explanation and what you type are sent to Anthropic, whose AI model writes the coach's reply. We do not store that text. Anthropic works on our behalf, in the United States; it says it does not use this kind of data to train its models and deletes it within 30 days, unless it must keep it longer to enforce its usage policy or by law. Please do not type personal details into the box.
Hosting, logs and visit counts
Cloudflare delivers the site and runs the server. To do that it handles your network (IP) address, and keeps short technical logs of server requests for up to seven days. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and builds no profile of you.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site sends no usage or mistake counts at all.
Other services you may reach
- Videos are embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once you play one, YouTube (Google) handles your data under its own privacy policy.
- Radio stations play straight from each station's own server, which sees your network address while you listen.
Outside Brazil
Cloudflare works worldwide and Anthropic in the United States, so some data is handled outside Brazil, by providers that commit by contract to protect it.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (article 18) you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold data about you, and give you access to it;
- correct data that is incomplete, wrong or out of date;
- anonymise, block or delete data that is unnecessary or handled against the law;
- give you your data in a form you can take elsewhere;
- delete data we hold on the basis of your consent;
- tell you who we share data with;
- tell you what happens if you do not consent, and let you withdraw consent at any time.
Write to privacy@tradingmathcoach.com. For data on the server, include your browser id (shown below) or the link of a verified record, so we can find it. You can also complain to Brazil's data protection authority, the ANPD (gov.br/anpd).
Delete what the server holds for this browser
This deletes the daily chart readings, outcome figures, Edge court votes, class memberships and coach debrief counts kept under this browser's id. It does not touch what is stored in your browser, verified records (send us their link) or an account (use the Account page).
Download my data
Everything this browser keeps about your practice, in files you can open: your records as JSON, with moods, tags and notes, and your chart readings as a CSV table. Sign-in details, the browser id and teacher keys are left out.
Age
This site is meant for adults. It does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes too. A change in what we collect or why is described here before it takes effect.
